A MUST HAVE!!
We keep the unit on the side crib rail and the vibrator under the mattress. Plays music, nature sounds, or a heartbeat too. Can set to turn on automatically when baby cries. Works like a dream! We usually set it to the lowest setting vibration (she's 20lbs now) and the lowest volume for the music to turn on automatically if she cries. Calms her and puts her right back to sleep! Since it doesn't play every night, she's not 'addicted' and mom and dad don't need to get up to comfort her! We use this with the Summer Infant Handheld color monitor. Both work perfect; the monitor's camera is on the back crib rail at the center, about 16 inches from the crib vibrator controls and about 24" from the vibrator itself. We have not experienced any problems with either. Both operate perfectly simultaneously; no interference. Baby has used since birth (pack and play had a vibrator - baby slept in bassinet / changing station for the first few wks and was gently rocked to sleep there; this was a great help tranistioning her to her crib!). Unit is almost a year old and well worth the few dollars. Here's to a good night's rest for all!!
PS - our baby was not colicky, so I don't know if this will help your cause...

This thing is wonderful! Finally something that will keep my 4 week old sleeping most of the night. When the baby wakes up and makes a little bit of noise, the vibration and sound turn on again. The vibration works great under the crib mattress, and the sound is loud enough. The only negative thing is that the music doesn't rotate, so it will stay on the same song over and over and over - but who cares, this thing is totally worth every penny and keeps my baby happy. Just need to have rechargable batteries - as with any baby item since most items (swing,pack in play) require batteries anyway.

Our newborn was a fighter. When she was tired she would cry and cry. Of course it would be 2 or 3 am when she started. I used to walk up and down the house until she fell asleep. Bouncing, dancing, patting her back for hours. Until I bought this wonderful magical thing.

One night at 3am, frustrated and tired as all life, I found this. My husband thought it was a waste of money. Oh my god, does it work. No more walking, bouncing, or dancing. I have to calm her down a little then this puts her out. And at night when she starts squirming I turn this on and bam she is out again.

At two months we started sleeping seven hours straight. I strongly recommend this to all you new tired parents.

Works great!

I bought this "bed jiggler" for my son when we started letting him sleep in his crib (around three months old). His bassinet had a vibration feature so we thought this crib soother would help to ease the transition. He also woke up alot at night and I was hopeful that the auto-on feature would keep me from having to get up all the time.

It worked perfectly! We used it for many months (at least 9!) with rechargeable batteries. We replaced the batteries in both units every 4-5 days, so rechargables are definitely the way to go. I didn't have any problems with the units "talking" to each other. I didn't much care for the sounds on the machine, so we only used the vibrating option.

After we quit using it, I set it aside should we have any more children. Well, our newest one is now in her crib and we're using it again. I am ordering another one as I think we wore the original one out.

So, I'm purchasing this product a second time and it was and is worth every penny!

I am so happy with this product It has been so helpful I did notice that other wireless products will block the transmission of the crib vibrator but it has been a great product and I am so happy with it
