seriously fabulous crib mattress

My daughter slept better on this mattress the very first time that we put her down on it (and that's saying something, since she didn't want to sleep anywhere else but between us on our king size bed). It's been about 11 months since then, and she sleeps fabulously on this mattress. I can't recommend it highly enough.
I appreciate that it's organic - and that there are no harmful chemicals - and that it is still fire-resistant.
I think the coil system is far more comfortable than the foam (which she had before) - and it still provides extremely firm support.
It's pricey, yes, but the return to civilized life (a.k.a. when she started sleeping through the night) was worth just about any price.
I'm now about to buy a second one for my next baby! |

I have had such a hard time figuring out the differences between all the new baby mattresses available on the market. I found Naturepedic's website to have some really helpful information and their customer support person really took the time to answer my questions and concerns. We have been very pleased with this purchase!
best choice

As a first time mom of twins I agonized over this decision and researched extensively. I think this is the best choice-this is made of high quality, safe, hypoallergenic components, is backed by scientific evaluation, is very well made, and is made in the US. It is more expensive than the average baby mattress but will last through toddler. I would avoid "organics" made of latex or wool, these are probably worse than the toxic standard baby mattress.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

After much research, we decided to go with this mattress instead of other "organic" brands. I am so happy with this purchase. Very high quality and we sleep better at night knowing our baby is breathing in all toxic stuff in standard baby mattresses. We purchased the Baby Mod - ParkLane 3-in-1 Convertible Crib, Amber and White from www.walmart.com and after reading the reviews about mattress not fitting the bed, we were very nervous this mattress wouldn't fit either. Once again, we were pleased again, the mattress fit perfectly. We recommend to anyone.
Best nontoxic, chemical-free baby mattress

Most baby mattresses contain a whole host of noxious chemicals, including PBDE, PVC, etc. This mattress contains none of those nasty chemicals and use healthy alternatives. I bought this for my son as well as for my nephew-on-the-way. It's certainly more expensive, but I felt it was worth it for the peace of mind and the health of my child. Plus, I can use it for the next one and share it with my sisters when their baby time comes.
Great investment for baby and toddler

After I learned about all of the toxic materials and chemicals in traditional crib mattresses, I was determined to find an organic alternative. This mattress is a great choice. It is firm and fits very snugly in the crib. (I have to lift the mattress out to change the sheets)
It is also waterproof with a food grade polyethelene covering. It doesn't have any bad chemical smell either.
I wanted to find the same type of mattress for my porta-crib and bassinet, but was disappointed to find that these products use different materials. I ordered the porta-crib mattress in a custom size. First, it didn't fit (was smaller than the measurements I provided). So they sent another one in their standard size. I don't like this one because it is too soft. The covering is different than the crib mattress and it seems to have air trapped in it. The ends are firmer than the middle. I don't recommend the porta-crib or bassinet sizes due to this issue. It would be great if they made them just like the crib mattress.
