A baby crib is a small bed intended for infants, toddlers or small children. It is best for babies to have their own cribs especially if they are still very tiny. It is not advisable to have them sleep close to their parents, because accidents do occur and if the parents accidentally roll on top of their children while sleeping, the poor babies would be terribly hurt.
In a baby crib, babies have enough space for them to move in, including rolling over, or playing with their favorite toys. The idea of having a baby crib is to keep the baby safe from doing himself any harm by crawling just about everywhere and getting himself into trouble. The baby cribs are produced with high sides to keep the baby from climbing out. Babies usually wake up, play and then fall back to sleep right after they get tired. So the baby cribs make it very convenient for the parents or caretakers especially when they don’t have that much time to look after the baby.
Baby cribs used to be uncomfortable so the manufacturers decided to put mattresses in them soft enough for the baby, but not too soft as they can’t move around anymore. It’s just about right for them to be able to do some activity in.
